About

Ann Geissler has spent most of her adult life involved in college admissions. While studying for a Masters of Education degree in Counseling and Guidance at Northern Arizona University, Ann worked as a Graduate Assistant in the Dean of Students Office. There she served on the international student admissions committee and there she began her admissions career.

After completing her Masters, Ann returned to the New York area, working in the admissions office at Marymount College in Tarrytown, NY. From there she moved to Columbia University, where in addition to her work in admissions, she completed a Master of Education degree in Higher and Adult Education at Teachers College and is all-but-dissertation in the Department of Family and Community Education.

From Columbia, Ann moved to New York University as the Director of Admission and Financial Aid at GSAS. After a short break while raising her child, Ann has returned to the admissions field, now working to guide students through the complex terrain of college admissions.
